Twoble
A two-level table: dining height or lounge height.
Lift the top and the crossed legs swing through a quarter turn on a hinge-slider. Set it down and it stands at the other height.
Team D-sign designs kinematically transformable products: objects that reconfigure by hand to take on more than one role, for workspaces, homes and exhibits.
NO motors, sensors, or batteries.
Most objects are built for one fixed job in one fixed space. Ours adapt to the people who use them and the places they stand in.
Every project starts from a specific everyday problem and ends in a mechanism: a set of links, pivots and stops that gives one product several stable configurations, each reached with a single, simple input.
Gravity and the user's hand drive every change of shape.
Products are designed to come apart, travel and reassemble, so they suit spaces a fixed installation can't.
Kinematic synthesis, CAD, structural analysis and fabrication, combined with ergonomics, materials and finish.
Products and prototypes, from hand-held models to finished pieces.

A reconfigurable exhibit display.
Inspired by the way a bat folds its wings, the display's two wings fold and open together from a central post, each carrying four panels.
A storage cabinet with a fold-out desk.
A single arm turns a plank about one pivot: flush with the side panels when closed, flush with the top when open.
A cabinet door that becomes a ladder.
The triangular steps roll out from the face of the door and lock level as it leans out, then roll back flush when it closes.
One table, three heights.
Rotating the top tilts the legs on universal joints, changing the table's height. Turning one way gives floor height; turning the other way gives chair height.
We exhibited at INDEXPLUS 2026, the furniture, interiors and design exhibition in Mumbai.
We showcased our prototypes at TechConnect 2025, held at IIT Bombay.
